A sense of nostalgia

Planning to take the folks (including Granz and Yen Kor) when they come next month to Dalat for a short visit.

This will be the 3rd time the parents are visiting in Ho Chi Minh and they've never been out of the city. I figured the beach is out as all 4 of them hate the sun so they wouldn't enjoy it.

Dalat would be a good option... some great sightseeing especially the flower garden, the Dalat market, the Valley of Love, the waterfalls and Emperor Bao Dai's summer palace. The architecture and the weather will wow them and make them see a different side of Vietnam (away from the humidity, congestion, pollution and traffic).

Was just looking through some of Sus pics from her first trip to Vietnam in Oct 06. Sus, Jane and myself hired a 15-coach seater and traveled 8 hrs to Dalat, argued over a cheap motel (that Sus did not want to sleep in) and finally spent a day sightseeing, ticking off our list before rushing back to HCMC on the same day!

Seeing those pics brought back a sense of nostalgia
