I had Nitz and V (and the girls), Gabe and V, Dil and Edrick over on separate occasions
- had Dalia stay with us for a night
She was travelling to Vung Tau for business trip and stayed over with us for a night. We went out for a nice dinner together, following which, T took Ray home while we girls went out for a drink. I was actually in the mood to get out, have a few drinks and dance a little. It's been tooooo long.
Sadly, it was a ghost town. Lush only had 1 table occupied. Apo was disappointing and unusually quiet.
Dalia concluded that T must have paid everyone to stay home.
Finally we ended up at Level 23 which wasn't too bad because music was great and we had one drink and managed to dance a little. We were out only for 2 hrs but at least it satisfied my "cravings".
The next day, just before she left for her airport after her appointments in town, we met up for a coffee at the new Vincom Mall. A lot of the shops are not opened yet but it looks potentially to be one of the most "happening" malls in HCMC to date. This city is really opening up! It will be silly to buy anything here given the crazy import taxes but I can definitely see myself bringing Ray for a "stroll at the mall" when we need to "get out" of the house.
