Living room, dining area and a kitchenette

T wasn't too impressed. He wanted to stay in one of those luxury villa where the beach is right outside your villa.
I wanted a bit of everything - villa with private pool, the beach, shopping, restaurants etc. On a moderate budget.
I had booked the villa on Agoda.com and got a pretty good deal for it. So I was really happy - the villa was very nice, spacious and comfy, service was good, food was not bad, they had a private beach club (with shuttle service twice a day), plus we were in Seminyak area which is the up and coming area of Bali with lots of amazing shops, restaurants and bar.
It was like a different side of Bali - Seminyak is luxurious. The shops carry fashion that will put all of Vietnam to shame.

Ray had his very own playground - climbing in and out of the bathtub and playing at the edge of the pool (it was difficult for us to watch him all the time!)

Our first family photo! How glamorous!
Day 1 of Bali was pretty much chilled. We explored a bit of Seminyak and ended up cabbing up to Legian area for some shopping and dinner.
