Saturday Night Fever @ Lidia and Fabrizio's

It was our first time to Lidia and Fabrizio's for dinner - They had brought over lots of cured meats, apperitifs and alcohol from their recent Italy trip.

First there was champagne and lots of salami, ham and cheese to start (YUM!)

We met this new couple called Lily (from China) and her Italian husband. They have a 5 month old baby boy called Hecttore.

Then we all sat down for a 3 course meal - risotto, baked eggplant and chicken (all of which was to die for). Followed by San Simone and Limoncello (for digestion).

To work off an exploding stomach, Fabrizio played us some of the latest hits while we chilled in the backyard.

Lidia and I couldn't resist and started dancing immediately

Whether it was too much alcohol and testosterone or simply out of good sport, the 3 husbands started trying to outdo each other in dance moves, to the amusement of us wives. It was hilarious as each of them grabbed a lamp post, trying to show their sexiest moves and even attempting to strip to score more points with the ladies.

Finally, Lidia and I decided to show them how it should be done. (Rachel was the only one who didn't dance that night... she claims that it wasn't her kind of music)

T and I certainly had a good time dancing ... and the 3 men were enjoying themselves singing along to the great hits by Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Vanilla Ice etc...

THANK YOU, LIDIA AND FABRIZIO FOR A REALLY FABULOUS NIGHT!
