The party was planned almost 2 months beforehand. She was looking at venues and had narrowed it down to a pool party ... because Aman loves chilling at the pool and because the kids could enjoy it too.
She had decors flown in from Bangkok (courtesy of her parents) - garlands, flower hair clips, flower lights. The theme was Hawaiian/beach/floral. She even had a pinata which Elsie and I took pleasure in decorating and filling with sweets and chocolates.
Typical of V... it was either going to be a party with a big Bang ... or nothing at all! But it was truly one of the best 30th birthday I've been to. Everyone had a blast... especially the boys who showed their true colors ... acting like 8 yr old kids wrestling and whatever not in the pool.
Suddenly, a song by Elton John comes to mind... "Can you feel the love tonight?"
