The big event took place at Amara Sanctuary, Sentosa on 5th of April 2008 and many family and friends flew in from all over the world to witness this special event - the coming together of 2 very different people (different culture, religion, background, language and nationality).

Of cos even the most well planned event could not happen without any hiccups and the already-very-stressed bride found herself going berserk as things started going the wrong way.
- the nails refused to stay pretty, taking turns to get ruined or breaking. the cds that were specially printed and meant to be given out to family could not be burnt. the ceremony cards that were printed were not given out in time, resulting in some friends thinking they were not invited, that we invited them last min and thus did not (want to)turn up. the constant delay in the programs (which apparently is inevitable). Not to mention, cutting her legs while shaving despite having gone for a wax just before the wedding. Gatal!
To top it off, the bride had one too many drinks before the ceremony (in an attempt to calm her nerves)and found herself grinning like a monkey in all the photos! The father and the bridesmaids tried to intervene by grabbing her glass away and told her to stop smiling with her bugs bunny teeth, making monkey faces in the photo shoots or she'll regret later.

At the ceremony, the groom had a hard time pulling out the ring which somehow found itself tied to the ring pillow and when it was the bride's turn to put the ring on his finger, it took a bit of force to get it in. She even went for the wrong hand in all that excitement.

Despite all that drama, the day went on beautifully and couldnt have been better. Some family n friends got emotional. Even the bride and groom had glittery eyes during the exchange of vows.
