The Break-in Drama

U know how we thought our house was almost broken into while we were on holiday?

We got the full story when we got back yesterday.

Apparently, it was the same guys that broke into our house in May last year! There were 4 of them - 2 on a bike on a lookout outside and another 2 that climbed over from the empty plot of land next to ours! I cant believe they managed to do it again even though we've put up higher barriers since.

I am sure they tried to break into our house but with the extra security that we've set up - window grills and extra locks inside, they weren't able to break open and climbed over from our house to the next door neighbour's instead.

The neighbour did not have any grills so they were able to cut open the glass very easily and break in. The burglars, young boys, took A LOT of money and the safe which had even MORE money.

While they were climbing over our wall, the security camera from the Parkland apartment next door caught them and the security alerted the people in the house opposite ours who then called the police. So when the guys tried to jump back into our house to get out where they came from, they found the police waiting for them! The other 2 guys on the bike had already fled when they saw the police coming.

Anyway, I hope this is the end of the break-in drama!
