Bonding with Gido

Just as much as Ray was clinging to Gong Gong in Singapore, he was equally attached to Gido (Grandpa in Arabic) in the UK.

The last time he met Gido, he refused to go to him, crying as soon as Gido came near him. And now, he only wants Gido.

It was really nice to see them bonding - they'd play ball together, ride around on the lawn-mower, sit on Gido's lap to watch U-tube. He even got away with sitting on Gido's lap during meal times and every time we try to discipline him, he'd run to Gido for rescue!

Everyone is impressed by Ray's intelligence and good nature. He'd greet everyone with a "morning" or "hi" and a kiss every morning when we go to the main house where the folks stay. And in the evening, I'll put on his jacket and he'll immediately go say "bye" and kiss every good night.

Sweet boy!
